I admit this is late, and I don't really have a good illo for this weeks topic.

Here's a drawing I did this week on location. I was trying to pass the "time" :D

The polar bears marched into the frigid waters of the Atlantic with resolve, ignoring goose bumps and numbness.
While we stood there bundled up, and watched with awe, as our wet noses froze in the blistering cold.

My son sometimes reminds me of a baby gator when he sucks down his morning bottle with the most voracious appetite!
There are other times when he's a baby lion, a baby monkey, a baby piggy, or just plain baby, but in the morning, he's a baby gator :D

Let us raise a glass for all of the poor turkeys out there! I hope a few of them are spared this thanksgiving...

I flew in to check on junior

This morning I had the most surreal half asleep/half aware-awake experience, I got up, levitated myself off the floor, raised about half way up into the air, looked out the window, then, mustering up a lot of internal effort that I knew exactly how to do, I flew in to check on my sleeping/or half sleeping offspring. I hovered above his crib, perfectly balanced in the air!!!! I swear it felt soooo real! Talk about an out of body experience.... Then, a little while later, I woke up, in bed.

I guess even in my sleep, I'm always a worried mom! But that sure was odd....!

Opinions

I think my belly has not gotten much firmer or smaller since it was virtually ruined by pregnancy and birth, no matter what gadgets I have tried to pull it back together. My hubby on the other hand thinks I look fine... even hot. Opinions...hehehe.
